줄거리

인천상륙작전 직후, 강원도 금산의 어느 마을에 UN군들이 들어와 언례(이혜숙)를 겁탈한다. 이 사건으로 마을사람들은 언례를 따돌리고 멸시하지만 남편없이 남의 집살이로 아들 만식을 키우는 언례는 마음대로 죽지도 못한다. 그러던 중 강 건너에 미군부대가 주둔하자 그들을 따라온 양색시들이 텍사스촌을 형성하고, 언례는 최후의 수단으로 양색시인 용녀와 순덕을 찾아가게 되는데...

In the wake of the successful Incheon landing operations, U.N. soldiers enter a village in Geumsan in Gangwon province and violate Eon-rae. The villagers ostracize and treat her with contempt but Eon-rae lives on with her son Man-sik in poverty. Meanwhile, a U.S. military base is established across the river and a band of prostitutes that cater to the soldiers set up a whore town near the base. As a last resort, Eon-rae goes to whores, Yong-nyo and Soon-deok. With the influx of American culture, public order breaks down. The antagonism between the villagers and Eon-rae and her girls becomes acute. The consecutive deaths of the village children are the catalyst for an emotional explosion. But as the war continues, villagers begin to leave one by one, unable to hold onto their homes, Eon-rae and Man-sik forgive everyone and leave the village also.
