Every Wednesday evening 20:00 from 7th February to 7th March 2007, there are Korean Classic Film Screenings with English subtitles. This season, we are showing 5 Korean classic films which are based on Buddhist theme. "Transgression(Pagye)" is such an uncanny film directed by Kim Ki-Young who had made "Housemaid." "What is the Reason Why Bodhidharma Went to the East?" is an artisanal film of the director Bae Yong-Kyun. The director Im Kwon-Taek's work of "Mandara" shows a profound cogitation on the Buddhistic agony.
