줄거리

아빠는 다른 여자와 집을 나갔고, 엄마는 호스티스인 13살 소녀 사치코에게는 6학년 담임이었던 오가타 선생만이 유일한 위안이다. 그러나 선생은 떠나버리고 엄마는 자살을 시도한다. 사치코는 학교를 빼먹기 시작하고, 거리에서 그녀를 이해하는 사람들을 만난다. 미야자키 아오이는 이 영화로 2001년 프랑스 낭뜨 영화제 여우주연상을 수상했다. 13 year old Sachiko is a lonely girl; her father left home with other woman and her mother makes their living as a bar girl. Her class teacher Ogata is only her solace. But she's hurt when Ogata leaves the school and her mother attempts to kill herself. She starts to skip school and goes to street where she meets people who understand her.
